Update 2.8.29 released today. Adding support for :

Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

Trusty Tahr

Trusty Tahr is here !

Trusty Tahr is the name of the latest LTS release of Ubuntu.

LTS stands for Long Term Support which mean that it will be supported by Ubuntu team for repectively 3 years (Desktop) and 5 years (Servers).

Finally ! a new beta

it was about time :-)

After quite a long time I have fainlly been able to release a new version (not just an update).

Here it is, version 2.9 Alpha. You can download it from this URL : http://www.linuxliveusb.com/en/other-versions

Click the link below to see what's new (or just read the included README.TXT file).

Fedora 20

and a bit of cleaning

If LiLi was not running after launching it then try redownloading the latest version. I reuploaded a new file that should fix the issue.
If it still does not run, kill any "LiLi USB Creator.exe" process before running it.

LiLi 2.8.27 now supports :

  • Fedora 20 "Heisenbug" Gnome/KDE/Xfce/LXDE/SoaS/Design
  • Sabayon 14.01 KDE/Gnome/Xfce
  • Linux Mint 16 "Petra" (KDE/Xfce) DVD
  • Kali Linux 1.0.5
  • Tails 0.22
  • gNewSense 3.0 (GNOME)
  • Voyager 13.10
  • Gparted Live CD 0.17.0-1
  • Parted Magic

Parted Magic is now commercial. Any future versions should work with LiLi as it did for the past few years.

Mandriva is back

with its friends

I'm proud to annouce the immediate availability of LiLi 2.8.26.

This is a minor update to add official support for :

  • Linux Mint 16 "Petra" (MATE/Cinnamon) DVD
  • Peppermint OS Four 20131113
  • CentOS 6.5 (CD/DVD)
  • OpenMandriva Lx 2013.0
  • antiX 13.2
  • Finnix 109
  • Toutou Linux 5.5
  • SMS (Superb Mini Server) Live 2.0.6
  • Manjaro 0.8.8 (Openbox/Xfce/KDE)

Please note the return of Mandriva support through OpenMandriva project.

By the way, this distro looks great !

Another important note is about Linux Mint 16. You may have the exact same bug as with Ubuntu 13.10. If it does not boot properly and just dies at (initramfs) prompt then please read this bug report :
